It is no surprise that fishing is one of the primary source of livelihood by many Filipinos in the countryside. This painting is Boygo’s personal rendition of a now popular theme among many Filipino artists.

The painting depicts the wives of Filipino fishermen waiting for their husbands’ catch for the day which they, in turn, bring to the local wet market to sell.
